Malta International Airport has been using Alert Communications for all its web development needs since 1998.
In February 2009, Alert Communications launched a new and totally revamped version of the Malta International Airport web site. This website uses the Alert Web Publisher as a back-end, enabling different divisions within the organisation to keep their relative section of the site updated.
The most popular sections – the Flights Schedule, Arrivals, Departure and the Weather sections - have been given priority in the page layout design. The flight arrivals and departures present information in real time. The site also presents the most extensive weather reports for the Maltese Islands. The weather report section includes detailed daily forecasts, 5-day forecasts, Isobar charts, Radar images and Satellite Photos. Also included are weather observations in real-time.
