Data Centre Technician

Responsibilities:

Operate, monitor and maintain a large number of servers and network devices. Conduct several routine tasks as part of the data centre operations. Respond to emergency situations and perform troubleshooting, provide technical assistance to customers and generic IT support for employees in all departments.

Qualifications and/or experience:

  • Good communication skills especially regarding technical matters.
  • Working knowledge of all major operating systems (Windows and Linux).
  • Working knowledge of servers and network equipment.
  • Familiarity with configuring network equipment such as routers and switches.
  • Qualification or experience in desktop computer maintenance.
  • Qualification or experience in enterprise/service provider network technologies.
  • Willingness to work on a flexible schedule if and when required.

Special requirements:

  • Must have own transport.
  • Must be able to lift and carry equipment up to 30 Kg in weight. 
  • Available to occasionally work extra hours on an on-call basis.

 

Business Development Executive

Responsibilities:

Assist the Business Development Manager in generating new business, which will include identifying new leads, growing existing client relationships, actively seeking and conducting meetings/ presentations with potentials clients, helping in drawing up business plans and preparing presentations, researching market trends and other assignments as required for the overall performance of the duty.

Qualifications and/or experience:

  • Good customer relations skills. 
  • Ability to handle multiple clients. 
  • Self motivated, enthusiastic and confident.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meeting targets.
  • Willingness to work on a flexible schedule if and when required.
  • An understanding of IT & Internet technologies.

Special requirements:

  • Preferably hold a degree in Business Administration, Management or Economics; or a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position.

 

Financial Controller

Responsibilities:

Manage the finance function for the Group (including preparation of management accounts, financial statements, statutory returns, cash flow forecasting, credit control, payroll and budget management); conduct internal audits; analyse KPIs, project profitability and productive time; support the management team in identifying effective operational and risk management strategies.

Qualifications and/or experience:

  • Qualified accountant with demonstrable experience in a project-oriented service environment. 
  • Organised and having a strategic approach to financial management. 
  • Motivated and proactive team player. 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to deliver to tight deadlines. 
  • Solid experience in the use of middle-tier financial software packages.
  • Excellent data analysis skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Special requirements:

  • Must be an energetic participant in the Group’s plans for future growth.

Prior experience of financial management within the IT industry and of consolidation of accounts across a group of companies will be considered an asset.
